So I took some time to think about this because over the years I keep running into this problem with people. I've lightly touched on this subject before because I don't want to make a big deal out of it. But a line was crossed recently so here's something you should know:

My fan characters will never be completely canon-compliant and I ask that people please stop suggesting or try to assert control to change them.

I have opt to take creative liberties in what I do with my characters and it's fine if you don't agree with that. However, I ask that you respect my decision and creative vision. The only times I would actually change my character that drastically is if it's to improve the design or if the writing of the character changes in a big way.

If you can't do this then I'd suggest you unfollow me and find someone else who shares your opinion/vision.

And as a side note, and this is leaning towards my Gem stuff, don't ask me to "genderbend"/make my masculine Gems more feminine in order to apply to canon. I shouldn't have to explain how incredibly disrespectful this kind of behavior is, but this has to get a special mention.
